FINAL SPEECH
In the beginning I would tremble and shake when I had to give a speech. I would draw a blank and my heart would beat faster than a hummingbirds. Towards the final speech I gained confidence in going up there. I would still have a bit of the shakes but sometimes I forgot about them. I began to look people in the eye. I acquired the skills of eye contact and voice projection. I realized that when I give a speech people can't attack me. There's no sense of danger for me to be worried or scared. I think what I gained from this class is very beneficial. I can apply it to a huge conference room or even a family gathering. When someone asks me to make a toast I can make it without turning into the exorcists. Blugh!! I felt the last speech could have gone a bit better. I was right after a really good speech on the same topic. Even I was put to shame because the first speech touched everyone's feelings. I presented it as more logical. During the speech I tried to keep my eye contact on everyone. I took the recommendations that I got from my listening worksheets. My major problem was that I didn't keep a constant volume. Sometimes I would trail off and slowly lose my focus. Thanks to the outline and everyone's recommendations I was able to deliver what I hope was a good final speech. The class taught me a lot and I was glad I had it in the mornings because what I learned in that class I would apply to my afternoon class presentations.

Informative speech
I think I learned from the last time to have some aid when I talked to refresh my memory. It seems sometimes when i give a speech I have the memory capacity of a goldfish, i completely space out. the outline was very helpful. As I talked the visual aid showed what I meant. I walked people through che's life so you had his baby pictures up to the last picture taken of him before he was executed. I liked my introduction because i started off with some facts. Then I talked about how people don't really know what he did or what his ideals were. My conclusion needed some work. I trailed off when i said "some dude bro". I informed people but my voice trailed off and that's not a good way to end. I should keep my voice volume constant. I improved on having an outline in front of me but I still want to improve other things. I wish I didn't get so cold before a speech and also I wish I didnt walk off to get something out of my bag like I did. It was embarrassing so I should relax before a speech and not rush on up to the podium. Hopefully I'll improve by the last speech.

PERSONAL SPEECH NEW YORK FEBRUARY 17
My voice cracked. I sounded like the exorcist at the beginning of my speech. My hands were cold and I thought I was going to pull a Penelope Cruz and ask "has anyone fainted before because I might be the first one." My physical delivery was okay at first. I remember seeing everyones faces but then I felt judged and I freaked which led on to the voice of a cartoon.
I had my visual aid up for support. Seeing those beautiful pictures of red hook have inspired me to do so much. That was the best thing about my speech. Except this time I had my back to those beautiful black and whites thus the fear and despair kicked in. I need to improve on not panicking. I had gone over my notes and I had my story ready. I was prepared to share my wonderful experience in Red Hook. Instead it came out like an unorganized story about a rainy day where I met a "yeti"(or an old lady that looked like one at least)
I could feel everyones eyes on me. For the next speech I'm ready to have my notes in front of me. No longer will I have my brain wiped clean like a slate. I'm hoping to redeem myself on the informative speech. On top of that I would like to stay with in the time limit not below and end my speech in a "classy" way instead of "yeah that's it *cough*"
