PERSONAL SPEECH NEW YORK FEBRUARY 17

My voice cracked. I sounded like the exorcist at the beginning of my speech. My hands were cold and I thought I was going to pull a Penelope Cruz and ask "has anyone fainted before because I might be the first one." My physical delivery was okay at first. I remember seeing everyones faces but then I felt judged and I freaked which led on to the voice of a cartoon.
I had my visual aid up for support. Seeing those beautiful pictures of red hook have inspired me to do so much. That was the best thing about my speech. Except this time I had my back to those beautiful black and whites thus the fear and despair kicked in. I need to improve on not panicking. I had gone over my notes and I had my story ready. I was prepared to share my wonderful experience in Red Hook. Instead it came out like an unorganized story about a rainy day where I met a "yeti"(or an old lady that looked like one at least)
I could feel everyones eyes on me. For the next speech I'm ready to have my notes in front of me. No longer will I have my brain wiped clean like a slate. I'm hoping to redeem myself on the informative speech. On top of that I would like to stay with in the time limit not below and end my speech in a "classy" way instead of "yeah that's it *cough*"
